By plane

Brussels has two airports: Brussels International airport (in Zaventem, code: BRU), closest to the conference site, and Brussels South airport (in Gosselies, code: CRL), home of low-cost companies. You may also use the aiports of Amsterdam, Paris, Cologne, and Frankfurt which have good train connections to Brussels.

Brussels International airport is the main international airport. As may be appreciated by the following link, it is served by many airline companies. There is a train station in the basement, which makes the airport easily accessible from the center of Brussels by the Airport City Express train. This train links the airport with the three main stations in Brussels (Brussels Midi, Central and North, closest to the conference site) four times an hour. . Timetables may be consulted from the Belgian Railways web site. Just enter "Zaventem aiport" as the departure station.

Brussels South airport is a regional airport with bus connection to the center of Brussels.

By train

The closest train station is Bruxelles-Nord. The Belgian Railways web site will compute train connections from most European countries.

By car

As in all European cities, driving by car in Brussels is difficult at peak hours.
