Specialist meetings

Furthermore, shorter specialist meetings will be held once a year by Specialist Groups. Some of these meetings will also take the form of an open workshop with a public call for papers. The work of Specialist Groups will also proceed through bilateral visits. The specialist groups are intended to be multi-disciplinary. The first three (theoretical groups) will study common concepts that underlie the notions of ``agent'' used in the fields listed in section 2. The last three (application groups) will study practical application areas involving several of these fields; for instance, SG4 will use techniques from organisation theory, software process modelling, requirements engineering. SG3 is singular in studying both theoretical issues (deontic facets) and practical ones (business applications).
