The special interest group on information technology and disability covers many different areas of information and communication technology. It sees the need in a global information society to study all the emerging technologies including multi-media, voice recognition, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and broadband telecommunications. The group's emphasis is to facilitate access to all products for all people, optimizing the use of information and communication technologies in as many potential markets as possible.
